Dr. Girjesh Kain is a renowned Cataract and Refractive Surgeon and the Founder & Managing Director of Oracle Eye Hospital. He completed his MBBS from G.R. Medical College, Gwalior, followed by an MS in Ophthalmology from N.S.C.B. Medical College, Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. He further enhanced his surgical expertise through a prestigious Fellowship in Cataract Surgery at Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

With over a decade of clinical and surgical experience, Dr. Kain has dedicated his career to delivering advanced, affordable, and compassionate eye care. Prior to establishing Oracle Eye Hospital, he served as a consultant ophthalmologist at several reputed institutions, including Ratan Jyoti Netralaya (Gwalior), Indira Gandhi Eye Hospital (Amethi and Lucknow), and District Eye Hospital, Moradabad. He also worked as an Ophthalmologist at N.S.C.B. Medical College, Jabalpur.

Dr. Kain is recognized as a pioneer in modern cataract surgery in Western Uttar Pradesh. He was the first surgeon in the Moradabad division to implant the PanOptix IQ Toric intraocular lens and has been instrumental in introducing advanced technologies such as Micro-Incision Cataract Surgery (MICS), topical (painless) phacoemulsification, and the Centurion Vision System for cataract surgery. Under his leadership, Oracle Eye Hospital became one of the first eye care centers in the region to be developed according to NABH standards and implement a comprehensive Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

A strong advocate of community ophthalmology, Dr. Kain has performed and facilitated thousands of free cataract surgeries for underserved populations. His contributions to eye care have earned him numerous recognitions, including felicitations from the Commissioner of Moradabad and state cabinet ministers, as well as the prestigious “India’s Real Hero Award 2020.”

Dr. Kain has presented more than 24 scientific papers and posters at national and international conferences and remains actively involved in academic and clinical advancements in ophthalmology. He is a member of several prestigious professional organizations, including the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS), All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), Intraocular Implant and Refractive Society of India (IIRSI), Glaucoma Society of India (GSI), Delhi Ophthalmological Society (DOS), and various state ophthalmological societies.
